    Sitting on your top quilt

It bugs the hell outa me, seeing all that lovely down getting flattened if I have a sit during the day time. It's worse with my winter quilts as they're so fluffy that they try to escape at every opportunity

Has anybody come up with an idea to avoid this without packing it away. I thought about attaching a shockcord loop at the head and foot ends which then hooks onto the hammock suspension. Then if I want to sit down I can just clip it on and chuck the quilt over the side of the hammock and it stays up off the ground.

Any other ideas or is it just me?

Why not just push it to one end of the hammock? You're only sitting in the very center.

I usally lay mine over the ridgeline or shove it down into the footbox of my hammock.

Pushing works but my winter quilts try to escape in an open hammy, not an issue with my WBBB.

Chucking it over the SRL sounds simple enough, I'll try that next time

What about stowing it between the hammock and the UQ?

    +1

I have also just snap the neck snap and bottom drawstring of the TQ over a ridgeline if i have one, or up in the corners to a hook thingy (with a Knotty modded hammock the corners are like cabinets)
