It takes more line, but that's a nominal weight cost for the ease of adjustment...
    +1 to that

I use the same system but with a Flyz instead of the fig-9

I slide my prusiks down next to each other on the CRL and then hank the cord up in two bundles. A smaller bundle for the Hook end (the first end I tie) and then a larger bundle with the Flyz on.

Tarp Flyz are much more durable than figure 9s.

True... But I have the figure nines on hand... When the day comes that I can order some more from Dutch, tarp flies are a for sure thing...

I do actually prefer to have the "V" for the hammock suspension to go thru, but that can be achieved with both continuous ridge lines and separate lines at each end.
I saw this video and said WOW, I immediately converted two tarps to this method. I love the one man adjustability from one side, can't be beat, however, I am struggling with the take down. My tarp always ends up on the ground, I don't like this, especially in wet conditions. I have not mastered the takedown and if I don't, I will go back to the CRL supplied by Whoopie Slings, the prussick, knotbone and fig 9 has worked well for me.
