Last weekend I introduced my 2yr old son to the hammock. I slung a hammock for him and one for myself between the posts on the back verandah. He seemed to enjoy the experience, maybe too much so. Now each evening this week I've been having to contend with "I WANT TO SLEEP IN MY HAMMOCK" all said in a very teary voice, distraught at the thought of having to sleep inside. Now it's good to see he's enjoyed the hammocking experience, but I am looking forward to when the novelty wears off and I can sleep back inside with the Mrs. The next step will have to be to get him camping out bush. I reckon he'll take to it like a duck to water.
