    What have I done?

Last weekend I introduced my 2yr old son to the hammock. I slung a hammock for him and one for myself between the posts on the back verandah. He seemed to enjoy the experience, maybe too much so. Now each evening this week I've been having to contend with "I WANT TO SLEEP IN MY HAMMOCK" all said in a very teary voice, distraught at the thought of having to sleep inside. Now it's good to see he's enjoyed the hammocking experience, but I am looking forward to when the novelty wears off and I can sleep back inside with the Mrs. The next step will have to be to get him camping out bush. I reckon he'll take to it like a duck to water.

Mwahahaha! You don't know what you've created! We have 5 hammocks now, one for every member of the family. But hey, if it gets him outside of the house, it's a win/win.

Best story I have heard in a while. Have you the option to hang him a hammock in his room? Keep up the good work over there.

Don't worry, I've considered it. I took the hammock down today and there was plenty of tears because of it. I may just have to make a stand. Thankfully a toy tent in his room has sufficed for the time being. Hopefully it won't turn him into a ground dwelling camper

I just finished a fleece lined hammock for my 3 year old. He keeps asking if we can camp outside when it gets warm out.
