MSR Silicone core shock cord for UQ suspension?

In my local shop, I noticed MSR do some 4mm Silcone core shock cord for replacing tent pole cords.

The blurb says they are good down to -40 and my thoughts turned to cold proof UQ suspension

Has anyone used this for hanging UQ's?
    Any experiences of it?
Does it actually stay elastic down to low temps?

Looks interesting. I compared the weight listed to 1/8" and 3/16" shock cord I had on hand. It's about half the weight of the 3/16" and about 1.5 times the weight of the 1/8". It sounds like something I might use in a small loop at a tarp tie-out point. Distinctive candy-stripe pattern won't exactly go with camo, but that doesn't bother me. I suppose I could enclose it in a brown or green mini-snakeskin if it did. Anyway, on the strength of this I ordered 60 feet of it to experiment with (enough to get Super Saver Shipping on Amazon). I'm unlikely to use more than a small fraction of that, so I'll have some to share. I'll post some comparisons on it's stretch strength when it arrives.

Looking forward to hearing back from what you find David

I'm doing an extended cold trip starting next week, some of this will be going to see how it compares to my other cords in the cold.
It doesn't seem to stretch as much as my normal shock cord-the sheath stops it though-not the inner.
Whilst trying (and failing) to find another supplier than MSR, I found that Silicone tubing is used to power wind up model planes-stretches up to 6 times its original length.
