Hello from SC!

I've been hanging for about a year and a half now, mostly in western NC when I hit the trails out that direction. I currently use a HH Expedition asym with a pad and SB, but I'm really trying to explore better options now (UQ & TQ, new hammock, etc.)

I appreciate in advance for the help y'all offer!

You just missed Rev's Frozen Butt Hang in Sesquicentenial State Park. Great info there and even better folks. Another one's coming up at Huntington Beach State Park near Myrtle Beach next month. Check out the thread. Also, search for the kindly ogre named Gresh in your area. Great guy and regularly posts here. Shug's videos are where many here have learned their expertise. Welcome from the Upstate. Hope to see ya' on a hang!

Greetings and salutations from just up the road in Abbeville, SC. Great to see so many new hangers in South Carolina.

There are a lot of great hangs in the area (Southeast and otherwise). Don't forget to check out the Southeast Trip Planning sub-forum along with the HF Calendar.

Welcome from Irmo, bud! Fish On is right, you JUST missed the Frozen Butt Hang (the hangs are a great place to see others kits, get ideas, and see how others do things), but we'll get you at the next one, hopefully! High five for another South Carolina hanger, and another hanger in my fairly immediate area.
