    I usually sleep with a thermarest pillow under my knees to bring them up a bit. Keeps me in the right position all night and gives some extra insulation for those colder temps. Get that knee looked at soon....it can come back to haunt you at the wrong time on the trail. I never hike without 2 hiking poles...even if it's flat ground, it takes alot of stress of the joints.

    So rather than make my own thread I thought I'd resurrect this one, I'm getting knee pain in my DIY WBBB thats 9 and a half feet. I was wondering if people thought it was more due to the short length, or possibly too tight of a ridgeline? Its pretty taught when i hang it up but comfy enough to hang out it, but when i sleep in it i wake up in the early morning with knee pain. Of course i made the ridgeline fixed length amsteel so i'd have to make a new one out of zing-it or something. It just sucks falling asleep comfy then waking up in pain.

    For sure get the knee checked. Dealing with that right now myself. And how do you make a HH a bridge?
