Finished a 40degree TQ with draft stopper flaps at sides & head end. I have used these on all my quilts and they work Great. I first saw this idea on RayWay DIY Quilts and after using it was hooked. These silnylon flaps add no bulk and are far easier to tuck in around you than bulky insulation. The head end one seals off the neck & shoulders and REALLY improves warmth!! I highly recommend these additions. They are much easier to add during quilt construction but can be retrofitted afterwards. Another new addition was the footbox closure. I used 1/2" grossgrain strips 15" long on either edge and formed daisy chains along the length every 1" or so..straight stitch 2-3x. double grossgrain over at ends for strength. I the used flat drawcord and "Laced" the ends together...works great and is easy to remove and open or loosen for venting along with drawcord footbox closure. Also want to thank Madd & Jeremy for your input...was very helpful. Cheers
