Hey everyone, just finished working on a video showing the set up directions for the Ridge Creek Under Quilt.
Enjoy and let me know if you have any questions on the quilt.

Thanks Acer. Wife's are tricky. I have a hard enough time keeping mine not to mad at me. I need to post a "your on your own" policy on the site.
Hope to be doing a few more of these videos this year to act as set up and use instructions for our gear.

Paul sent me one of these to try-out for him and I'd have to say I'm impressed with it. It is absolutely snug to the hammock; no fiddle factor. Also, you'll never misplace that color red...NEVER!
I've got three nights in it so far. The first night it was just under the 30° mark and I slept like a baby. Second night got down to 24° and again, slept right through it. The third night (last night) I decided to try something and removed the tarp from my setup completely. No real strong winds, but a pretty steady breeze. It didn't get real cold last night (back up around the 30° mark), but I did notice a big difference. I eventually wimped out and put the tarp back up. Was warm and snoring about 10 minutes later.
I don't know the specs on it, but it is very light. Compresses about as well as other high end synthetic insulation; about the size of a 2 liter. This is a quilt I would carry happily.
My best guess, having not found its bottom, is about 20°. I was warm at 24°, but when I got up in the middle of the night and climbed back in I could feel the quilt trying to warm back up. Wasn't the low-end, but I think it was getting close. A clothing boost would take this quilt into the teens for me, I think. For most folks, I think 30° is a fair rating. I think anybody could go to 40° with ease. It took the quilt all of about 30 seconds to warm right back up after I put the tarp back up last night. Probably took a full minute the night before when I got back into the hammock. Only 6 degree difference, so I'm pretty sure it's going to lose the tug of war lower than 20°; like any other 3-season quilt would. But above that, nice freakin quilt!
Not entirely sure you're getting it back either. Just sayin.
Trust nobody!
Paul,,do you make that quilt in a 50 degree model? If so its a perfect summer quilt.

'Classic.' A book which people praise and don't read.” ― Mark Twain
Who cares about showers, gourmet food, using flush toilets. Just keep on walking and being away from it all.
There are times that the only way you can do something is to do it alone.
I have the ridge creek and really like it. I've had nothing but good experience buying from this company. In fact, I can say the same thing about all of the vendors from the forum that I have dealt with.
