    DIYGearSupply

I wanted to give Scott a shout out. I had ordered a yard of a certain fabric for a project I never got around to completing. This morning I needed 40"x40" of fabric that I knew I did not have. I remembered that "yard" from diygearsupply.com. Scott's "yard" of material more than covered my project.

Thanks for that little bit of extra that saved me days waiting on another order!

BTW why doesn't DiyGearSupply.com have their own forum? HF started out mainly as a great place to DIY hammock projects. DiyGearSupply is very hammock specific in their product selection. I bet more HF members have placed an order with Scott than some of the other vendors that have a forum

Scott has been amazing to deal with for me! Easily one of my favourite vendors!

I just placed an order this Friday for my first DIY tarp from DIY gear supply. I'm already planning on spending the day shut in my workroom the day it's delivered.

I think the way they decide on a dub forum is if there is when threads about the maker starts cluttering up the main forum... So if everyone posted about it like everyone does about getting their new underquilt or topquilt then most definitely they would have it... But most people are less excited about getting a bunch of fabric than they are about finishing said project..

Scotts always giving me a little extra on all my orders. He's my main supplier and a great guy to deal with. He's always refunding me a dollar or two as he finds cheaper ways to ship stuff. Shipping is always fast.

    True, true.
I got in a fight one time with a really big guy, and he said, "I'm going to mop the floor with your face." I said, "You'll be sorry." He said, "Oh, yeah? Why?" I said, "Well, you won't be able to get into the corners very well."

    DIY Gear Supply Sub forum

I will add my vote to this cause as well. I think DIY Gearsupply is a GREAT resource for this community. Scott's website/services already have a lot more chatter than some of the other retail vendors we have on HF. He is a stand up guy and has been part of our (growing) little family for a long time.

Maybe he does not want a sub-forum, but if he does, I think it would be justified... Just sayin'.

One reason he's such a great resource is that he makes really good decisions about what to stock.

+1 on Scott's supplies and support. I've used some of his DIY plans and some of his materials--always top-notch. No surprise to hear it from others as well.
