Not a chance. I might let you lay in it, as long as you take your boots/shoes off and place them in the handy "boot pocket" on my Ultimate BB sock!

Referring to the "How to pee in hammock" thread, nobody who plans on peeing in the hammock is borrowing ANY of my gear! So if you've publicly responded already, you are SOL!

Haha - I'll keep that in mind when I see what you bring.

My wife saw me asking and told me to delete it but I hit the post button before she could intervene. Maybe I should be on that drug intervention show..."We love you so much and we hate to see you wasting your life away with all that hammock gear you have." "I'm not wasting, I'm relaxing. Here, try one." I bet I'd have them all buying prototypes and making DIY gear in no time!

You sound good to go and should be plenty warm. Eat well and hydrate and warm up before crawling in for the night.

Boy, I'm going to keep an eye on the weather all week - I may be able to drop some things from my pack(s) if it stays as warm as they are predicting. Near 50 on Friday, and upper 30's for highs on the weekend. And the lows are only predicted to be around freezing (32*) the entire time. I may have to bring my swim suit!

What weather service are you using?
As I'm sure you know, in areas where you have elevation change, I struggle with "trusting" a weather report from a lower elevation.
Weather at 2000' low is 32* and up the mtn, at 5500, the same weather has a low of 15-20* and wind chill that could be deadly if you re only prepared for 32*.
I've been searching for a weather report at higher elevations...anyone know of a good, representative one?
