Black Diamond Contour Compact Trekking Poles

    (Let's try this again...)

Brand new pair of Black Diamond Contour Compact Trekking Poles. These were purchased brand new in 2007 (can't recall exactly), and quite literally haven't been out of the closet since. This particular model has been discontinued, but it's pretty similar to the current models that Black Diamond is offering.

I originally paid $99 for these. I'd take $60 shipped to the USA, $65 to Canada.

    Here are some blurbs:

The most popular trekking pole in the Black Diamond line, the Contour is also the lightest. Great for high-mileage and technically-challenging terrain. If you're under 5feet 8 inches, the Compact is a shorter 49-inch version. Why carry extra weight? Aluminum poles feature Binary and FlickLock systems that adjust on the fly and never slip. Grip bent to a comfortable fifteen degree angle so it's easy on the wrists and upper body. Short Flex Tip and low-profile trekking baskets will keep you snag free. Streamlined, dual-density grip top for control on descents. Non-slip foam grip extension and 360-degree padding allow more control over hand positions and adjustments. 49-inch compact size offers reduced grip size for more comfort, better compactibility, and lighter weight. Collapses down to 25 in.

Our friends on the other side of the Atlantic are on to something. They've been climbing the Alps for years with trekking poles and we're just now catching on. See what you (and your aching knees) have been missing with the Black Diamond Contour Compact Trekking Poles. The angled grips on these BD poles allow yours hand to rest in a more comfortable position, reducing stress and wrist fatigue as the day drags on. The extended grip gives you an easy place to grab when you're traversing a steep side hill. When you're not using the Contours, unlock the FlickLock and Binary systems and collapse the poles to 65cm for easy storage in or on your pack.

Decided to keep these and potentially use them in a future bridge setup with a WB Ridgerunner
