Take her out to dinner and give her a little romance then slip the idea of matching hammocks into the conversation. How much fun it would be for the two of you, to do more activities together...
Be sure to get her a hammock too. that way when you buy new gear you can tell her you are getting it for her so she will be comfortable in it. Thats what I have been telling my wife.
