My new Chair

Not worry about the tree, out here in NE Wyoming and through out the Black Hills we have been fighting with pine beetles. This tree was one that had been infected. If I did not cut it down, paid contractors would have this spring, thrown into a pile and burned. I was able to make use of it.

i like it... i like that it is rustic and the braces don't match... it just adds to it all and makes it look like its supposed to be there... also makes it look like it has been around a while... i don't care that you chopped the tree down, if it was a live go plant another one... if it was dead GREAT, one less thing to burn...

HAHA, When I first had it up I used matching braces, unfortunately I forgot to brace the front side and when I sat down the brace bent! So I grabbed what I had available. This weekend It will match again!

That's a great looking stand! Good use of pine kill...we have piles of it in our neck of the woods. We had some huge out of control fires last year, wish more people would find a good use for it.
