    Down Pillow and "Nada Pillow"

    Made these for a friend...

2oz down, some 1.1ripstop, add some fleece, throw in a guy who should have been wearing his glasses and you get:

    the slightly assymetric down pillow:

I saw a pillowcase for sale, so I thought I'd give it a try... I call it the Nada Pillow... because it's stuffed with NADA! (Spanish for Nothing):

Add a (Clean) shirt or two... stuff the flap inside, and you have an instant pillow...

I think I'll be making more Nada Pillows to share with my PIF friends...

    Nicely done Sir.

I'll be keeping my eyes open on the PIF looking for one of these. They look most comfy...

Did you hear about the new DIY Corduroy pillows?

They're making headlines... get it.. head lines... nvm.

Aaaand my PIF radar is up and running again.

And I would argue that it's only asym when it's on the table. If you're laying on the diagonal, it's perfectly straight. Doubly so if you have an asym tarp. It's just the motif.

I was thinking of making a Nada Pillow myself. Now I know what it should look like when done!

The fleece panel, do you have ripstop behind it making a double layer or is it simply one panel of fleece sewn to one of ripstop?

LVE the Nada pillow, John! An envelope design: envelope pillow cover.jpg might hold the "stuffing" better and is still "no-fastener".

HERE's how. Again, Love the fleece idea. Thanks!

It is 2 panels. The fleece Side is only fleece... the down pillow is ripstop all around....

That is a fantastic idea. I can vouch for John's pillow making abilities...I am the lucky owner of one...I like the idea of just a pillow case though...sweet
