I would think the stuffsack would be the same size?
only that you can cram the 20F more then the 40F?

I assume that I should be able to cram the 40* more. I just like to "see" so I can compare at home

I just received two 0 degree incubators. One was regular length with 2 ounce overstuff and the other was the long and both packed down the same after full loft had been reached. However in the end there was more room in one, the long, than the other. Figure it is due to the over stuff.

Ok, so I got the chance tonight to take some pics of my 40* Incubator in the supplied stuff sack as well as some other stuff sacks I had laying around. First is the stock stuff sack.

Here it is next to first thing that came to mind for size reference, a 2 liter soda bottle.

    Then I tried a 11 1/4 x 4 3/4 x 3 1/2 in, 187 cu in, 3.1 liters stuff sack

    and finally a 8 5/8 x 4 1/4 x 3 in, 110 cu in, 1.8 liters stuff sack

I like the stock stuff sack, and it fit pretty good in the middle stuff sack. The smallest one was pretty tight and I don't think I will use that one. I"ll probably just stuff it loose into the bottom of my pack and let it fill out the spaces.
