    DIY Organization pockets and storage?

Has anyone done any of these mods/additions? I would be interested in seeing some of the creative items people have made themselves. I am new here and looking to see what is out there.

    Thanks!

I took an old 12x15 Tyvek envelope and turned it into a ridgeline organizer. I just cut it off about 6 inches from the bottom and put two cord loops on it for carabiners to hook to. It's big enough to store my keys, my wallet, a pocket flashlight, and even my cell phone. I may put a 3rd loop in it just to keep it from spreading so wide.

I made a set of ridgeline organizers out of an old storage shelf I had been given a long time ago for a tent...

It one big pockets but stitched in the middle... My fabric was wedge shaped which gave the organizers an open mouth look even without weight in it... I like the mesh for visibility purposes...

I like those for the ridge line! Very nice... I hadn't thought about the Tyvek material used in the envelopes either.

I ditched the ridgeline organizer when I got the WBBB. The shelf eliminated stuff hanging over my head. All that is on the ridgeline now is a micro light and thermometer.

I added the ridge line organizer to my WBBB. I use the shelf for layers, hats, gloves, etc. I like to use the small mesh organizer to dump my pockets into. It allows me to see what I'm going after while laying in the hammock.

I am thinking about buying some skeeter netting to make some ridge line organizers.

Here's a photo of my tyvek orgnizer. Quick and easy, and it packs small and light.

I tried making one similar to 2qzq's, but it didn't turn out so great. I just bought one instead. It isn't DIY but is pretty cheap and great quality.

I had some scrap Cuben, so I made a ridgeline pocket out of one sheet with a channel at the top, one large pocket on one side, and two small pockets on the other. The whole thing is 3M taped with no stitching. It weighs 5g.
