All of my hammocks are fully symetrical and head agnostic. I can toss my head to either side of either end and be perfectly comfortable. I've yet to sleep in a hammock with attached netting that I like, although the Danger Bird and Ridge Runner are both on my list to test.

Mine are like Catavarie's, but I don't want to keep moving my peak bag all over the place, so I mark my head end with a little prussik.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

I also have WBBB with the "stock" webbing suspension, and had the same problem you did about setting it up backwards. I solved this by putting a small piece of the orange reflective cord I use for tarp tie outs on the double ended stuff sack cinch cord head end. Now I can tell which end is head and which is foot before I even start setting up.

I use different coloured biners. I also always put my hammock in its bag foot end first so that when I'm taking it out, I take it out "head first"

My BB bag has a draw cord on the one end and I removed the draw cord on the head end and tied a knot. That way i saved the wieght of a cord lock and I always know which is the head end
