    Re: Any tips to keep track of head end vs. foot

    I have tied a piece of orange paracord round the gathered part of the head end.

    WOW! Who knew...?

    I use the old standby that Jeff or Headchange or some one came up with here:
    Red = Head
    Blue = Shoe

    Use whatever you want, Red carabiner, strap, loop, string etc. You really only need one end marked, but it is nice to have two indicators/colors; makes it easy to use Red and Blue existing carabiners...

    Probably been said already but you could use different color suspension for the head end. Or just put a rubber band around the suspension area of the head end.

    Head End

    I put a colored zip tie on the head end. Easy way to set up when I check the bishops bag.

    I have a silver whoopie at the head end and black whoopie at the foot end. Super easy when you have 2 WBBB's (1 for the GF).

    I tied a piece of cord to the draw tight string on the head end of my hammock bag. I wanted a physical token there so I could find it by feel in case I was setting up in the dark.

    Thanks,

    Same here silver sharpie...just wrote "head" & "feet" on the correct strap.
