Best way to hang in an apartment?

So now that I finally got to test my hammock out on the trail I ended up having the best sleep I've gotten in over 4 years. So now I want to be able to set this baby up in my apartment. Is my best option to find studs and use metal eye hooks or what?

you better just get a hammock stand. drilling and screwing into studs can be a sure way to destroy some drywall! but hey, if you find stud center, drill a 5/16 hole about 3" deep and then use a 3" long 3/8 eye bolt.

Wow looks like I'm looking at paying more than my hammock cost >< I'm thinking about just using my futon and drill holes in the metal frame to shove fenceposts into them.

I have seen Risk's stands and they worked really well. Cheap to build too.

I started to get the Vario a while back. But it seemed a little short. It had an extension bar option, but I could not find a way to order it along with the stand. Anyone know where to find both at a descent price?

But I notice the one linked above in mikeinfhaz's post is not a Vario, though it looks much like it. But it might be long enough at 15 feet. I wonder if it breaks down easily for transport?
