Hike in 2 miles.
Hike in 4 miles.
Hike in longer than 4 miles.
Car camp.
Don't car as long as I can hammock.
East side, Eaglecap wilderness Two Pan Trailhead to Miniam lake about 6 miles. Good sites @ lake a bit of a walk for kids. Decently easy to find trailhead.
Westside, Drift Creek wilderness Harris Ranch trail. Nice old growth, trail was maintained this year, but it likes to rain.
Down the middle, Anywhere around the Sisters.
Count this first timer in. Been looking forward all winter to "hang out" with you guys.
maybe somewhere in the salmon hukleberry willdeness?
Man it sounds like more fun than I should be aloud. A real rookie here with a hammock but plenty of time on the ground in tent. I look forward to the hang.
I'll be there with my wife, son and maybe one friend.
I've never been to a group hang before so what's the agenda, is it a potluck dinner or on your own every meal. I realize the farther we hike in the smaller the potluck would be.. Lol
I'm voting for the Hideaway/Serene Lake area...specifically one of the Rock Lakes...short backpack in, great spaces to hang and fish if you want.

“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines, sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” – Mark Twain
I am going to put this on the schedule too. To far out to know for sure, but it would be great to do this.
PS: Anyone using, or have used, the Clark NX-250?
