Set up the SF, made up some make shift lines, (2 shorter lines connected to make 1) works great. I have a GG tarp that didn't have the side pull and I did a pole mod to it, but with the SF already having the panel pulls, no need for the poles now. I am really liking this set up. Now time to make some longer lines.........RR

    Pics of the panel pulls
    First is with no lines[IMG][/IMG]
Set up with two line from the panel pulls to s single ple, notice the loosness of the tarp in between the pulls.
    [IMG][/IMG]
And now with longer lines running from the ring on the end of the tarp at the ridgeline attachment, through the panel pulls and to a single pole (well a trail stick, hiking pole is on the other side). Notice that there is no sagging in between the panel pulls.

The next time I set it up, I may try doing away with the hiking pole/trail stick and run the line straight down to the stake. I am really liking this set up......RR

I like that last set up.. with single line.. then Pulling it to a stake Or ski pole. looks like the best method. Depends on weather.

If you take a close look at the pic that HamMike posted, you can see the fabric between the panels sagging......RR
sounds like the main ground corners (not the doors) should be pitched tighter. those 4 main ground corners i try to pitch about as tight as i can, definately stretching the fabric in the process if the stakes will hold that much. stretching it really tight should keep it from sagging like that even if it loosens some overnight

I have a cord strung from pull out to the other with a couple of shock cord prussics that I can slide along the cord to tweak it. I usually only use one cord tied to one of the prussics, and try to find a tree to tie off to; or just use a trekking pole.
