    Hello from Norway

    Hello.
I am new to this hammocking thing, but not new to sleeping outside in tent. I am 50 years old, living about 50km north of Oslo, have doing dogracing/mushing since 1986. The last years I have got a new interest, kayaking. So slowly i have gone from 16 dogs to 6, just enough to get out with a sledge. The most of my sparetime I do kayaking, I have build a greenland kayak (skin on frame) and I am doing a lot of practicing the greenland roll. You can see movies at my YouTube site from kayaking around in Norway, and other stuff. My username at YouTube is Kaiakk1.
I have a Hennessy explorer a-sym zip hammock. In Norway this is quit new, not many shops who sells this things. But Hennessy are one of them. I was not happy with the small tarp, so I have ordered a new one and much bigger from DD Hammocks. And a big thanks to Penny and DD hammocks, very good service.
I have tried this hammock once, in 11celsius cold. And that was ok. I used my Exped pad, 9cm with down fill. And a Ajungilak sleepingbag that should be nice to use down to 45 celsius cold. I was not freezing, but the pad inside the hammock was not perfect, so I think I will buy a UQ or make one myself.
I made a little movie from first time setting the hammock up. Sorry for not writing perfect english, but I am doing the best I can....

Hej från en svensk i exil!

You have to get Lars Monsen to try a hammock up there.. then it will take off in Norway too! But maybe there aren't any trees tough enough to hold him
