The Snipe and LO are the same design. The material is different and the LO is a double. I like both but love the material in the LO more. Very nice.

I would do it but I am about to leave somewhere very soon. So I am going to do it when I get back in two years.

I was wondering about the head and foot box with the knotty mod on the lite owl, its good to know that you can lay either way. I normally sleep reversed, feet to the left, which costs extra in a blackbird.

Spoke with Marty at Wilderness Logics this morning. Order for Lite Owl has been placed. He expects it to ship today.

Thank you all for your input.

My new Lite Owl arrived on the second day after placing my order. Kudos to Wilderness Logics and the US Postal Service for such fast delivery. Interesting note; junk mail on the day of delivery out weighed my Wilderness Logics package.

Set it up in the back yard for a quick test this afternoon. SO much better than my Doublenest! I did not realize how much shoulder squeeze I was getting from the ENO. The LO feels much less confining and considerably flatter lie.

It is ~14*F out now. February sun is very warm;perfect for napping. Came in only to get my underquilt.

Thanks All once again for the guidance

Re: WL Lite Owl to replace ENO DN?

Awesome. You'll love it. I just had mine out again this weekend. Finally dipped into the 20s. Aside from pee breaks, hunger pangs, and not being able to breathe (stupid allergies) I slept great. :-D I love my LO.

Glad to hear you have upgraded your hammock. I don't think you can go wrong with any cottage industry on here. Hopefully I can see your LO at a group hang!
