I think 10" of new snow and 8F last night has everyone in a state of "dang, I thought winter was over" haha, welcome to Spring time in the Rockies.

I'm still planning to get out and hang April 5-7. I've got a bad case of cabin fever so waiting another 4 weeks would be quite painful.

Baring another Spring time blizzard I'm heading up to White Ranch.
Any/All are welcome to join me.
I will be in campsite #12 on the lower loop. If that one is taken then #18 is my second choice.
You can check the sign in board to find me. The name will be under "Myers"

As for April 19-21 that's 2 weeks before I'm heading to South Dakota. I should be able to make it.

So Bob, with the 8" of new snow, does that mean you're going to be pulking in?

Your pics of White Ranch look nice.

    Hi Derek,
The thing with Spring time snows is they melt fast. I don't expect much if any snow except a little on the shady areas of the trail going in.
White Ranch is right on the front range foothills pretty low in altitude.

Is April 5-7 at White Ranch what we're settling on?

For me it'll depend on how my finances are looking. My wilderness survival class has me driving all over the place for class and its really hurting my play time funds. On the other hand im outdoors at least twice a week. Ive got an overnighter 4/13-15 @ horsethief park. Anyone know anything about it?

<sigh> I wish the scheduling conflict hadn't happened and while I can't say the reschedule is going to be an "officially-sanctioned" event I'd still like to get a hang in the weekend of April 19-21. Not exactly sure where at but I would like to wish 0-n-B luck this weekend...I'll be thinkin' 'bout ya!

OutAndBack - I'm going to try to make it out this weekend. I'm not 100% I can make it, but I'm going to try. I'll shoot you a PM to get specifics if I'm able to swing it.

Hiker's or Sawmill camp sites to avoid = 11, 15, 16. Last weekend there were no sign up slips at the kiosk - bring some paper.

    Very windy last weekend.
