I am bringing a 5gal jug of water for you to carry for the group. When we need water, you will run ahead and fill up all of our water bottles so we don't have to wast our time.

It is comfy, very comfy. I could probably take some weight off with whoopies ect., still be heavy. Will be a great car-campsite hammock. My go to hammock is still the Papa Smurf roaming gnome. He made me a prototype 2-3 years ago. LOVE that thing.

Ya, you would think so, but I hike the Texoma Cross Timbers Trail (which runs along Lake Texoma most of the way) and there is only 1 or 2 places where you can get water. So...I thought it would be a good idea to ask.

Weaseal...You can replace the booze with water and we should be fine (on second thought.....forget what I just said!)

Brute....2 1/2 lbs is nothing for you buddy! I'm suprised you didn't volunteer to carry it for him.

Yes, it does. The whole trail isn't 'lakeside', but it's pretty close the whole way and very close in many places. All of the camp sites are close to water and we can plan our mid-day stops around close water. Not to mention, the developed parks we will be traversing have city water taps; I usually stop for lunch on Saturday at one of these just so I don't hafta filter my water.
