Zing-It or Lash-It

Zing-it has a urethane coating to help arborist when tossing the line over tall branches.

Lash-it is not coated to help it hold tighter when lashing.

Check here and here the last one is from Sampson, and list both together, with no difference other than color......RR

I have worked with a bit of these different types of lines. There is a difference when it comes to splicing. The zing it strands stay together better making it easier to get the needle in between the strands. Maybe it is because of the different dyes but it is very subtle.

Yellow is easier on the eyes than orange.my opinion.

I contacted Redden Marine last year about getting Red Zing It from then and they replied....

So the deal with the Red is that it is a proprietary offering that they will only sell to Sherrill Tree. We can't get it. What a bummer.
