    Where to?

An incredible opportunity has presented itself, as opposed to its elf...However, I do want to, "Thank you for lettin' be be mice elf..."...Anyway, if all travel expenses were paid, and the choice of places to hang for a week were Coconino National Forest, Banff National Park, or the Big Island of Hawaii, which would you choose, and at what time of year?

I'd choose Banff only because I'm Canadian and want to see the rest of my beautiful country. I'd go in the fall because its cooler and no bugs.

That's a tough one but I would also choose Banff.
I live in Florida and we have palm trees so I would pick the beautiful Canadian Rockies. I always wanted to ski at Banff/ Lake Louise and stay in that medieval looking castle of a hotel.

My immediate reaction, of course, was HAWAI'I! Upon further review, though, I think I would have to choose Banff also. Have to think that there would be plenty of trails to explore up there!

Banff. Oddly enough, I live in Montana. Love those Rockies and the fish therein. Much lower crime rate too.

I got married in Banff last year in June. It was incredible. Do not pass up canoeing on Lake Louise! The water is breathtaking. If you fall in,literally lol. The glacier there grinds the mountains and the high-level zinc (glacier flour) in the water turns it a unbelievable turquoise blue like you have never seen. Its not like the Caribbeans. Go in the mid to late June. Temps are in low 70s ,no bugs, no tourists. Its perfect. PM me if you have any questions.

Canoe pics were taken an hour after we got married
You have to stay in Fairmont Hotel.

Well, I've been to Banff. Will be there again probably next year. It's nice. Don't know what to expect at Coconino National Forest, but from the few pics I saw, it kind of looks semi arid. I'm heading to Phoenix in the fall, so I'll get to see that. I've never been to the tropics. So I'd pick Hawaii.

Banff is way higher on my own list of places to experience. From what I've seen in photos it is among the most beautiful places on earth. However, I'd please the wife to choose Hawaii... so if she asks...

    Good luck

PS Banff is very touristy but once you get off the beaten path or into Kootenay park, Yoho etc the tourists die off.

Maybe it's due to it being bedtime. But that sentence hits me as incredibly funny the way I read it.
