    Fabric Weights For Layout....

I admit that I'm totally anal when it comes to tools so I'm guilty as charged. I've been surfing this sight and trying to gleam info pertinent to my future hammock plans and wading through all the info is daunting but fun. That said, I'm "right tool for the right job" kind of guy and take it to extremes at times.
I recognize that one can use anything to weigh fabric down when laying out but I had various pieces of scrap steel and aluminum available to me from work and went to town putting together and powder coating weights for layouts...
Remember, I did admit to being completely anal regarding tools....

Well that's definitely one way to skin a cat. I just grit my teeth and go for it sans weights...

I try to err on the side of caution and in this case, I'll get any gadget that will make a project easier, especially when my skills in this arena are "iffy" at best....

Sand bags (rifle rests) don't hurt as much when they land on your foot. (appropriate smiley implied)
