    Changed site behavior?

In the past, double clicking the HF logo at the left of each sub-forum would hide the orange indicating it had been read. A new post in the forum would turn on the orange again to indicate new posts.

Today, double clicking the logo takes me to the main forum.

Just me, a change in the site or an unintended consequence?

It seems there have been some problems with HF this morning. I'm sure it is being looked at.

In another thread Angry Sparrow said they are aware of it and are working on it.

Now that the other thread says tapatalk is working, any estimated time on fixing all the other things that were broken in the process? (I'd put a smiley here but it won't let me)

No, I won't give an estimate.

But I will say that most of the things work just fine if you tell your browser to 'load insecure content', which is exactly how it worked before the certificate installation.

Except that I didn't have to tell my browser to "load insecure content" each time I load a new page.

"The site uses SSL, but Google Chrome has detected either high-risk insecure content on the page or problems with the site’s certificate. Don’t enter sensitive information on this page. Invalid certificate or other serious https issues could indicate that someone is attempting to tamper with your connection to the site."

Will the site certificate issues resolve themselves with time?

    No, it won't.

The issue is that many small things on a given page are still HTTP referenced (smileys, some images, etc). We have to track down and fix each case, to get to full HTTPS compliance.

Please be patient. We're trying to make the site better, but we're doing it on volunteer effort.

That's the information I was looking for in the OP. Thanks.
