Congrats on your new kit and the test trip
So at 0 C it was no need to enhace the UQ from DD? Nice.

Mabe we should do a local Hangout?

If I die, my biggest fear is that my wife will sell my gear for what I told her I paid for it.

I am learning from my mistakes, so I can make better and bigger mistakes.

    That would be cool.
But I would not be able to go very far. I am in a bad shape. Had internal surgery back in November...I have Chrons so I get fatigued very quickly.

When I came home yesterday I was totally spent. Got some food into me, had a shower, and then just sat in the sofa for several hours just to work up the energy to go out and pack away the pulk, hang up the gear for drying etc...

A lot of what is not shown in the video is me sitting in the snow, panting, because of the effort it was to hang the tarp and hammock...

But it would be easier to go with more people , rather than alone. As I would not have to do all the camp chores on my own.

That was a very comfy looking home away from home camp you set up for yourself there. Thanks for the video and the tips and tricks, Rune! Happy hanging!

Congrats on your first hammock hang. I enjoyed watching your video thanks.
I think panting and resting is normal for winter camping, everything takes more effort or at least it is for me.
