    n00b in New Mexico

Good day guys.. I'm Damien, currently in Los Lunas, New Mexico but originally from Duluth, MN. Just purchased my first hammock (Clark NX-250) and hoping to get back into the mountains and woods and do something with the multitudes of free time I have off from work.

    Welcome Damien,
I'm up in the Ruidoso,NM area and hike/hang the Lincoln National Forest frequently. A few of us plan on hiking the Crest Trail around the end of May.If you have any interest drop me a PM and I'll keep you posted as the date grows near.

Good on you for the BMDM.. good luck. I'd been following it on FB but won't be doing it. Maybe in a few years when I'm in better shape.

LC is around 200 miles south of me.

I went from 8 miles and 20 lb pack killing me 9 months ago to 40 lbs and 20 + miles today... Got a little less than a month left to add the last few... The only thing that concerns me is my feet getting tore up, its still 90% mental, but that last 10% is all in your feet...
