I think we all agree we want a flag. I think we all agree that it should be the "Any day above ground" version. I think most would not argue if it was banner or flag style, just having it is the most important thing there. I think most would be ok with it being a single use flag or banner, although I also love the idea of a bandanna and I think most agree with that. Can we start from that point, and argue fabric? Do we have enough info for a poll?

    1. Flag Style - or -
    1a.. Banner Style
    2. The words "Any day above ground is a good day" have to be on the flag, with the hammock forums logo and the website address "hammockforums.net" on the bottom.
    3. Single use flag made of Flag Nylon -or-
3a. Single use flag made of ripstop -or-
3b. Dual use flag (bandanna/flag) made of cotton

Can we whittle down our options from here, and come to a consensus?

    consensus? Giggle.

For what it's worth, I like the idea of someone other than me buying a banner or flag for display at a hang. I likely would spring for one or more bandannas, multiple uses, light, etc. Something to consider would be to decouple planning on banner/flag from planning on bandanna.

Easy there, Dameon. We haven't even started the poll! Just seeing if we are at a starting point where we can start the poll. Is there enough info to make the flag with the info listed above?

Can't whittle it down yet. I want one of each.

Definitely ripstop (except for the bandanna). Small banner for my hammock setup and large banner for my house . Bandanna for just having (cotton's fine).

Ripstop fans will be disappointed, I'm afraid.

If we use nylon, there may be alignment problems due to the heat used between colors in the screen printing process. Polyester will not have those problems.

The printer I will be visiting tomorrow says bandanas are cheap and easy. You're right about bandanas... they can be done separately, at another time.

FFinn, I'll PM you with my questions about the poll.

Crud, I already posted the poll here. Well, we can see how the poll shakes out, and discuss more from that. We have had a lot of comment on this already, so it will be interesting to see where the interest(s) lie.
