I'll post pix on it when it is done. I have not even started it as of today.

All this FLAG stuff should have its own thread don't cha think. Maybe under the "Hangout" heading so more could see it....

No worries Mate .... just thought it should flesh out on its own. Wanna see the final results of the flag. Will it be on ripstop nylon??

...no time for making flags just now. I'm busy making pulk sleds!

    An idea...

Perhaps someone should talk to Ed Speer about putting together a DIY HF Flag kit.

Don't forget that Attroll and JJ need to sign off on anything like this before it's done.

    HF Flag

I REALLY like this idea. I think as many people as possible should come up with some brainstorming ideas for the flag. I like the simplicity of the current one that has been thrown around but dont really know where to go from there. What kind of things would we like to include in our flag? Any trees? Or is that a good enough design that we can just start making the flag from that?

I like the one you've got there. You would need to change the font to whatever it's supposed to be, and also we'd need to check with the "powers that be" about using the logo, etc.

It would be cool to have one at each major hangout, MAHHA, SEHHA, Mt. Rogers, RRG, etc. etc. etc.

I'm going to do some "peak-bagging" this summer. If we get a design done and a flag made, I'll take pics with the flag flying on my summits. If I can't hang a hammock above the treeline, at least I'll be able to let my freak-flag fly!
