    Question on PLUQ Layers

Okay.. I am going to make an inexpensive UQ for a friend (trying to gear him up for the spring) and I have a poncho liner that I am going to cut up. I also have some pretty big pieces of fleece that I can use to layer with the poncho liner. Once all the layers are done... I am going to cover both sides with some 2nds 1.1 ripstop for a more finished look...
I have gone through most of the PLUQ threads and know how to cut and set it up... my question to those that have done this or know more about insulation than I do.... should the fleece layer be next to the hammock.... be between the layers of the pocho... or does it even matter?
My plan is to fold the poncho liner in half and put to layers of fleece in the middle but thought I would pose the question before I start sewing.
    Thanks.

Thats what I did. I left mine open on 1 side to add/remove insul as needed. Have fleece and wool.

For me, even through nylon, fleece makes me sweat...cold or hot it doesn't matter. I would definitely leave one end "open" Velcro closure or what have you, and give him "panels" of fleece to add in when it gets cooler than about 45. As for adding nylon, save the nylon or just buy some climashield and make a decent uq for him. Shouldn't cost much more than a brand new pl anyways. Just my pennies...
