Guide Gear Tarps...New stock. Anybody tried them?

Good question...I just weighed the camo version and it is just under a pound without seam sealing.I could not get a perfect weight due to the size of the scale and the shape of the tarp. I am unsure if the green and camo have the exact same weight though.

After being out of stock for several years on the camo tarp, they have them back in stock so I ordered one.

Went to go buy a GG 12x12 tarp and they are out. Are there any alternative tarps that are around the same price and quality?

I picked up the 11x11 and the emergency shelter for $62 for both.I love the camo color and the cat cut on the green one .I canoe camp so the weight is not an issue.Quality seems good so far.

one of the green 8.5's and a cam.8.5 came today ( got them for the kids ) I think I'll put a little seam sealer on them just for kicks. They look to be reasonable for what they cost. Can't expect the world from $20 tarps, but they have to be nicer than the $5 big box store tarps I would imagine.

I am still testing these out, and I may order one of the cat-cut emergency shelters just to compare. I like the idea of the cat-cut vs the square. I need 10 or 15 tarps, so cost is a big issue.

Halfastronomical or anybody else with a 8.5x8.5 what's the size all packed up? I've got one of the 12x12s a couple years ago and like it but would like something that packs a bit smaller.

Went to order an 8.5x8.5 and an 11x11 camo tarps along with line for tie-outs. The three items were 60ish bucks, sounds like a great price at first. But when i get to the checkout with shipping, duty, and taxes added, it brought the final price to almost 120... ouch.

That site has a Canadian affiliate as well, so I thought I'd get away a lot cheaper.

I couldn't do it considering all the nice tarps I see pics of here that are in that range.. oh well, the journey of my first hang continues.

Thank you for the pics and vid of the 8.5 i was a lil worried about coverage. I will also add That I placed my order from sportsman guide on sunday march 3rd and still have yet to receive it. It will be my first and last order with that company. Shipping time is way to slow
