WL Lite Owl to replace ENO DN?

Any one formerly hang in an ENO Doublenest and regret switching to a Lite Owl? There have been a few nights recently that my Doublenest has felt a little tight in the shoulders or at the calves. I feel a little unfaithful, but my eye has started to wander.

I have not heard of a disatisfied WL hammock owner. Do they exist? Do the "Knotty mods" affect the lie of the hammock or just keep the top quilt from falling out? I assume the Lite Owl is like the Snipe in that I can flip it for a right to left lie.

I am ready to make the switch. Just wanted to float this before ordering.

    Thanks

As a DoubleNest owner, I can attest to the problems you're experiencing - my solution is a longer hammock, regardless of brand. 11' for the win, in my experience.
I used to be a somebody, now I just camp.

    I certainly haven't heard negative reviews, though I don't own one. That's a positive.

I don't have a doublenest (I have a singlenest) so I can't really say for sure, but I do LOVE my Lite Owl. You won't regret it.

I have a eno DN and it is too short for me. because of that I got a cheap Yukon 11' hammock that is much more comfortable because of the extra length. I'm on the verge of getting a lite owl because i'm in the market for a quality hammock and I've only heard good things about the lite owl.

I have both the double nest and a night owl from WL. I love my NIGHT OWL both my son and I have one. I am 6 f 3 in tall and 2 hundred and too many pounds. I sleep very well in mine. And as an added bonus it is a great company to work with. I have no regrets.

I never owned an ENO, but I did own two Ticket to the Moon hammocks, which are probably fairly similar. I tested the single and the king size TTTMs. I found them nice to lounge in, but not great to sleep in. I now own the WL Night and Lite Owls - they are supremely comfortable. No comparison to the TTTMs. They are also far easier to hang than the WBBBs, which I love, too. Try the Owl. I don't think you'll regret it. Personally, I find the Night Owl a bit more comfy than the Lite Owl. But I don't need to carry them, as they are my home hammocks

With regards to the Knotty mod: I don't think it affects the lay. But it's really handy for preventing your quilt/sleeping bag or your feet slipping out of the hammock. I would always opt for the Knotty mod.

I used to own a DN and now have a LO. I find the LO to be way more comfortable. The extra 1' in length allows for a much flatter lay than the DN, which is huge for me because I'm a side and stomach sleeper. The fabric on the LO is really nice also. The foot and head boxes are also a great design feature because it helps reduce calf pressure. In short, you'll really be happy with the upgrade.

I too started with with an ENO DN and now prefer a Lite Owl as my primary hammock. As Raoul Duke said, the extra foot allows for a flatter lay and the foot and head boxes (which can be deployed for feet to the left or feet to the right simply by flipping the hammock) are a great feature. You might check out the new WBBB XLC, which also is an 11-foot hammock and allows you to detach the integrated bug net. May be ordering one of those myself soon. Good luck!
