Do the rules about ridge line tension and 30 degrees apply to a Hennessy Expedition A-Sym?

Whenever I have the suspension system setup such that I have the 'desired' 30 degree angle, the tension on the structural ridge line is very great - like a tight guitar string. The lay of the hammock is good, but that tension on the ridge line worries me.

So, I'm wondering if the 30 degree rule doesn't apply to Hennessy hammocks (because of the built-in ridge line) or if perhaps the rule about the correct tension on the ridge line is inapplicable for this hammock. Everything I've read and seen on these forums implies that the ridge line tension should not be great and that one should be able to put a bend in the line without much effort.
