Unfortunately overnight stays in the park are not allowed. I wouldn't want to anyways, the trail along the rapids is at the base of 200+ ft cliffs with constant rock slides and ice chunks comming down. I did bring a book and hung there for over an hour to see if I even could stay warm. Lacking any under or top quilt I managed pretty good, I had an old Coleman sleeping bag on the very bottom, a thermarest pad on top, wrapped up in a fleece blanket and got into my 30 degree mummy bag.
