    Working Down

Got a new video cam, so I redid my down stuffing how to video. It’s kind of long but I wanted to have it detailed. I feel it’s a good mess free way of working with those fuzz balls. I’ll try to embed it, but if I fail, here’s the link.

Interesting method... Couldn't you get by without the first piece of no see um and just use the chaser piece behind you as you go... Maybe I am just not seeing what it is really doing... But it just seems to be holding closed the empty baffles...

+1 on the first piece of no see um. Great device and I will definitely be trying this method out, looks very easy to manage a usually aggravating task

Thanks for checking it out Brute, I learned on the first project I did, while blowing into the first baffle that the super fine particles were passing thru the baffle mesh, following the path of less resistance and coming out the opening of the next one. If you have a work shop to do this in then that first piece could be skipped because what did come out would have to be listed in milligrams, but it would amount to about ¼ cup of fine dust. So if this is going to be done inside, yes you do need that first piece if you need to keep the wife happy.

    I figured there was a reason I wasn't seeing...

We have two UQ ordered from Lost_Biker, I think this is how I will transfer the down. I think I will be able to avoid a lot mess/waste.

    THANK YOU, GREAT VIDEO.

Thank you Greg, one thing I failed to point out in the video was that finding a blower that wasn’t so powerful that it would blow the quilt up like a balloon which I did with a shop vac and shot it across the room (that was one heck of a mess). Or too weak like a blow dryer which kept plugging up at the “ T “ connection was the hardest part of that construction job.
