    Not to brag, but..

..so this weekend my wife told me we should go to REI "just to browse around". We've been working pretty hard lately on remodeling our house, and I thought it'd be nice to get a morning off, so.. off we went.

I'd been eyeballing the Exped Downmat 7 for use in our bridge hammocks for a trip on the John Muir trail this summer that we've been planning.. well, she decided to surprise me with one

So we get to REI and she goes to the counter and picks up a box that she'd had shipped there. Needless to say, that was a nice surprise. She's away this week on business, so I'm going to be sleeping in the back yard testing it out

That's all - no useful information; I'm just excited

Same here. LOL I'm jealous of Tijereyes. Tijereyes, tell her how much all your HF buds are impressed with her.

What are the chances that if this was a forum for say Cosmo magazine or something similar the response would be "A surprise like that, for no reason at all... he's cheating on you!"??

I too am impressed with her.
