You should circle the place the tick was with a pen so you can watch your skin. But, take heart. There is extremely little chance of contracting a disease from a tick that was attached to you for less than 24 hours.

Thanks that is a pretty good idea. I have been watching it on a daily basis. My wife is also watching it for me so she has a pretty good idea what we are looking for. I laugh because this tick freaked me out so bad, but as a kid I was constantly in the woods and had more ticks on me than I could keep count of.

My brother in law is more of a conoe down the rive kind of guy than backpacking his idea of camping is bring more gear than you can carry on your back. This includes and old army cot I gave him. Maybe one day.
