    I've lost my Amsteel mojo

+1 on the loop turner. Taper the ends and it is easy. I learned this far too late in the game. I spent many frustrating hours doing it all wrong.

Been there. Probably will happen again to me the next time I try to work with Amsteel.

My go to method is using floral wire. Cheep green stuff you get at the craft store. Taper the ends and use a bit of masking tape to hold it together.

I have one of those loop turner thingies, never really worked for me.

A guitar string doubled over works well for me. I didnt like the loop turner as well.

Wow, the loop turner is absolutely the trick. $3.99 at the local sewing machine shop and it made all the difference. I just made 4 continuous loops and every one of them went together perfectly.

    Thanks guys.

Good to hear you got your mojo back.

I could never understand people having difficulty using a loop tuner...that's why I did the (poor quality) video you posted. It's just that easy.
