I had started looking for ul tents which led to tarps which led to hammocks.
I love the DIY info and I can sew which works for me.
For re-enactments I built a 14' dia yurt from sunforger canvas. I cut out the canvas and did the woodworking myself but had to have someone else sew the bigger canvas parts.
