Noobs to the hammock thing. I just picked up an ENO DN. I just ordered a suspension kit from AHE. Can't wait to set it up!
I was a little afraid to make my own at the moment but I would like to give the whole splicing thing try someday.
I originally got the DN for the backyard but the camping part is really interesting to me.
Welcome to HF!!! You have found the best site on the web to learn all things hammocky. There's lots of Cali hangers here on HF. My advise is to go to a local hang to see all kinds of hammock gear to help you get ideas on the gear that you might want and to make a lot of good friends at the same time.
