Sounds good Grillmaster, I will Post the dates when I work something out. Depending on how many people respond, we will probably do a overnight backpack trip on the Pinhoti or Sipsey.

Being from upstate New York, I am interested in something up our way.Possibly the Finger Lakes Trail? Any interest, just let me know. I have a group of interested adult Boy Scouters. Maybe the Hi-Tor region. Some beautiful views up Canandaigua Lake.

Finger Lakes Trail is a possibility... southern teir sections anyway. I lived in Chenango County for a while and didn't do much on the FLT but it sposed to be really nice.
I may be slow... But I sure am gimpy.

If you post the dates and the place I would love to do that area. I used to summer at Oswego and never got to camp or backpack in NY. I think its 4-5 hrs from me (yes I have a lead foot at times).

and I'm an Eagle scouter too.

Its a hard 4 and a half hours from you. I used to live in NJ and to get to geneva, NY would take me a 3:20 and that was flying. But who cares Jerseyians are used to driving, right?
