Cumberland Island Georgia

Has anyone done any hanging on Cumberland Island? Is it permitted in either the improved or wilderness campsites? Thanks...EzeeR

Cumberland is a great place to hang. I found some nice spots at Yankee Paradise. If you do like we did and stay at Sea Camp the last night you're there for an easier egress I'd suggest taking long straps. I barely made it around the large oaks. I had to double up some spare line I had.

Looks like I only had one shot of my hammock at Yankee. WTH happened to my tarp?
