They do see in color, but I think the smell of food is what will really attract them to a campsite.

Read article over the weekend that says to refrain from bright colored tents in bear country as it draws attention and bears are curious. I know we are in hammocks but would think the same would hold true for us. Personally I go with muted colors outside the hammock and a splash of color for the TQ. I'm sure there are many different views on this subject with only Smokey and Yogi knowing the truth...

Me & my brightly colored hammock gonna hit the trail in a couple months. Cant wait. Getting excited. Want to do the white mountains, but will probably start with the Catskills cause they're closer.
