My son and I were able to hang on the edge of a steep hill overlooking a shallow creek bottom and facing the sunrise...it was beautiful to say the least. May not get to hike/camp in snow like that again for a very long time. It would be good to have you with us again!

if you stayed at the designated campsite on Lone Spring Trail that is right above lone spring and it is very nice spot. If there is ever a Missouri hang and I don't respond, call or PM me

Nice trip report guys. I missed this one. I camp at that location quite often, probably camping there on Friday. Hope there is not the 5 inches of snow you guys got though, my little underquilt won't handle that cold.

Clifton there is going to be a group trip the first weekend in May to the Taum Sauk section of the Ozark Trail.
