I did not dig deep into this NC site but remember, some; states/waters/time of year/etc require a trout stamp and some campgrounds provide such.

Looks like I'll have one more with me. My hubby! While he will be a ground dweller, I will have an extra setup for him "just in case"! Can't believe I'm actually getting him to one of these get tpgethers. When I tell him about the fly fishing, that should cinch the deal!

Glad to hear I have a good feedback with the fishing. I will be checking up on some of the fishing forums' reviews of that location.
There is never a bad time to fish, I need the practice! I've always bait fished, but my dad recently got me hooked on fly fishing, so still a noob. I will have 2 sets to bring down, if anyone wants to try, but don't look at me for casting technique! I still have to work on getting it to lay in the water nice and smooth.
Wrongturn, if you're there, I would appreciate any advice, after you stop laughing.
